His Golden State Warriors have yet to debut during the NBA's opening week festivities, but the talk show circuit has not been kind at all. Earlier this week, the legendary Jordan remarked that Curry was "not a Hall of Famer" in an interview with NBC's Today. While it's possible Jordan was speaking in a literal sense, Kevin Durant didn't do much to help out his former teammate in the news cycle. Speaking with NBA alums Darius Miles and Quentin Richardson on the Knucklehead podcast, hosted by The Players' Tribune, Durant was asked which of his former teammates would make up the perfect starting five. There was one notable omission. The pair each signed with the Brooklyn Nets this offseason, though their first collaboration will likely have to wait until 2020 with Durant still rehabbing from injury.Curry is a glaring absence on Durant's list, considering his status as one of the most prolific shooters in league history and the fact the pair won two titles together. Durant's time in California was a bit of a roller-coaster, though he and Curry appeared to part on good terms. Aston Villa want to sign Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United in the January transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Italian journalist has reported on Twitter that Villa are among a number of clubs who are keeping tabs on Summerville.
Romano has added that Leeds have “no intention” of selling Summerville in the January transfer window. The reporter has added that the West Yorkshire club turned down a bid of £20 million from Burnley for Summerville in the summer of 2023.

Real Madrid are to take legal action against a Portuguese newspaper that suggested the club pressurised Cristiano Ronaldo into seeking a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with Kathryn Mayorga.
Ms Mayorga has accused Ronaldo, who left Madrid for Juventus in July, of raping her in a hotel in Las Vegas in 2009, allegations the player and his lawyers have repeatedly denied.
The story originated in German publication Der Spiegel, whose initial claims an NDA worth $375,000 had been reached was confirmed by Ronaldo s lawyer Peter Christiansen on Wednesday.

The 42-year-old Spaniard replaces Darren Moore, who surprisingly departed the Owls having guided the club to promotion via the League One play-offs.
